About The Position

The Janitorial Floater is a full-time, hourly frontline essential worker role paying $24 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:30 PM to 2:00 AM, with a half-hour unpaid lunch break. The position requires a driver’s license and reliable personal transportation. No prior janitorial experience is required; training is provided in 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices using Green Seal-certified supplies and equipment. The role represents 4M through reliable, courteous, and resourceful service. Duties may vary, and the description is representative only.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a driver’s license and reliable transportation, including a reliable personal vehicle.
• Successfully complete a drug screening and background check.
• Comply with social distancing requirements and safety guidelines.
• Wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when required by the position and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices using Green Seal-certified supplies and equipment.
• Wipe down surfaces, including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report needed repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips.
