About The Position

The Janitorial Evening Floater is a full-time evening role covering customer sites in Rochester, Mankato, Faribault, Jackson, Marshall, Blue Earth, and Wells, Minnesota. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM. A vehicle allowance is provided, and a driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle are required.

The role involves cleaning and disinfecting facilities using 4M’s practices, certified supplies, and equipment. No prior janitorial experience is required; training is provided. Duties may vary and include cleaning surfaces and fixtures, removing trash, replenishing restroom supplies, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and reporting facility issues such as needed repairs, replacements, leaks, or drips. The team member is expected to be reliable, courteous, and resourceful, and to follow safety requirements and wear provided apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• No janitorial experience is required; training is provided.
• Pass a drug screening and background check.
• Comply with social distancing requirements and safety guidelines.
• Wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary under position and OSHA requirements.
• Have a driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect facilities using 4M’s practices, supplies, and equipment.
• Wipe down countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report needed repairs or replacements and observable leaks or drips.
• Follow social distancing requirements and safety guidelines.
• Wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when required.
