About The Position

A Cleaner is responsible for basic cleaning of common areas, restrooms, entrances, elevators, walkways, windows, furniture, fixtures, stairs, chairs, tables, telephones, drinking fountains, and other assigned items or areas. Duties include cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking restrooms, break rooms, and common areas; emptying trash and recycling bins; and sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Cleaners operate equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums, follow health and safety regulations and company policies, and report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management. Additional duties may include cleaning flooded areas, incidental spills, and trash or restroom concerns. The posting lists a Monday–Friday schedule from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and says multiple shifts and full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities are available.

Requirements

Strong communication skills.
Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
Willingness to work assigned hours.
Ability to perform physical demands including bending, kneeling, carrying, lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Perform basic cleaning of assigned areas and items.
Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
Operate cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums.
Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
Attend to flooded areas, incidental spills, and related trash or restroom clean-up concerns.
Perform additional duties as required.
