About The Position

Schylling is recruiting an experienced Janitorial Associate for the second shift, Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The role performs routine cleaning and sanitation in warehouse and building areas, maintains cleanliness and safety standards, replenishes supplies, and reports maintenance issues, hazards, or supply shortages. The associate may also assist with other warehouse functions, including VAS, unloading containers, and picking and shipping orders. The role requires working efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and completing other duties as needed to support the company’s mission.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of work experience in a related field.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards.
• Must be able to report to work as assigned and be eligible for overtime.
• Ability to work on a team that supports one another in reaching customer and company goals.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• U.S. work authorization required.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
• Consent to a background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and maintain hygiene standards.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policy.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Perform general warehouse cleaning, including sweeping, dusting, and dumping garbage.
• Paint walls and perform building touch-ups.
• Stock general supplies throughout the building.
• Assist with other warehouse functions such as VAS, unloading containers, and picking and shipping orders.
• Maintain cleanliness in the assigned area.
• Keep safety a priority and adhere to safety, quality, and production standards.
• Perform other duties as needed to help fulfill the company’s mission.
