About The Position

Flagship is seeking a dedicated, hardworking Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of client facilities and help provide a safe, pleasant environment. The position involves routine cleaning, restroom sanitation, waste removal, responding to spills, safe use of cleaning products and equipment, reporting maintenance or safety issues, complying with airport security and safety regulations, and assisting with special cleaning projects. Other duties may be assigned, and responsibilities may change with or without notice. The role requires significant safety training and attention to detail. Requirements

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Completion of significant safety training is required.
Authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Six or more months of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and disinfect areas within the assigned area.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and maintain hygienic conditions.
Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.
Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning emergencies to ensure safety.
Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and other objects.
Maintain and operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
Monitor and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.
Comply with airport security and safety regulations.
Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
