About The Position

Core Linen Services is hiring a full-time Custodian / Janitor to help keep buildings clean and orderly. The role performs heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. The position is based at 9905 S. 13th Street, Oak Creek, WI 53154, and is listed as 1st shift; schedule details will be provided during the interview. The pay rate is $16.50 per hour. The custodian cleans and sanitizes assigned areas using designated materials and equipment, follows the eight-step cleaning procedure and infection control plans, and helps maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities

Collect and dispose of trash according to approved procedures and infection control plans.
Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
Move equipment and furniture to clean properly, then return furniture to its correct placement.
Clean and sanitize assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment, following the eight-step cleaning procedure.
Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Identify areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the work.
Complete tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpet.
Contribute to the team and demonstrate professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
Perform other duties as assigned.
