JANITOR (FULL TIME)
About The Position
ESFM is hiring a full-time Janitor at the Nestle location at 3002 Afton Drive, Batavia, Ohio. The role keeps buildings clean and orderly and includes heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, and pay ranges from $15.50 to $16.00 per hour. One year of janitorial experience is preferred, but training is available. ESFM is the corporate Integrated Facilities Management division of Compass Group USA. Responsibilities
- Collect and dispose of trash according to approved procedures and infection control plans.
- Dust and damp mop floors according to approved procedures.
- Move equipment and furniture to clean properly, then return furniture to its correct placement.
- Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment, sanitize surfaces, and follow the eight-step cleaning procedure.
- Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Identify areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the work.
- Complete tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
- Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpet.
- Contribute to the team and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
