JANITOR (FULL TIME)
About The Position
ESFM is hiring a full-time Janitor to keep buildings clean and orderly. The role includes heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. The position is located at 206 Fairview Street Extension, Fountain Inn, SC 29644. Schedules are Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday, with day shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM and night shifts from 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM; further details are provided during the interview. The fixed pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Prior experience is preferred but not required, and training is available.

Responsibilities
- Collect and dispose of trash according to approved procedures and infection control plans.
- Dust and damp mop floors according to approved procedures.
- Move equipment and furniture to clean properly, then return furniture to its correct placement.
- Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment and sanitize all surfaces, following the eight-step cleaning procedure.
- Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Identify areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the work.
- Complete all tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
- Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpet.
- Contribute to the team and act professionally with customers, fellow employees, and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
