About The Position

Volunteers of America Colorado is a nonprofit, faith-based organization that provides human services through more than 50 programs, including housing, emergency shelters, hunger and nutrition services, and community support. The Janitor is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all interior and exterior common areas in affordable housing and assists maintenance staff as needed. The employee must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the health or safety of themselves or others. The job must be performed in accordance with applicable laws. Reasonable accommodations may be available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Benefit eligibility depends on job type and status. The position is full-time and pays $19.29 per hour. The role will remain open until filled; visa sponsorship is not offered. Requirements

Basic knowledge of janitorial cleaning chemicals.
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain good relationships with residents, employees, and vendors.
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the safety or health of oneself or others.
