About The Position

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at a facility and help ensure a safe, clean, professional environment. The role includes a variety of cleaning duties and serves as backup for full-time janitorial staff at both sites as needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, in North Charleston. This is a part-time position.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently within assigned hours.
• Ability to pass a government background check.
• Flexibility to fill in for full-time janitorial staff as needed.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Mop floors to maintain a clean, polished appearance.
• Clean windows to ensure streak-free, spotless glass.
• Clean carpets to remove dirt and maintain hygiene.
• Dust surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
• Clean air diffusers and returns to maintain air quality.
• Vacuum carpets and rugs.
• Sweep floors to remove dust and debris.
• Sanitize phone headsets.
• Spot-clean walls and partitions.
• Cover janitorial duties for full-time staff at both sites when necessary.
