About The Position

Provides cleaning services for all buildings, including operational facilities within the plant. The position also involves stocking cabinets, refrigerators, and other facility areas with supplies and food items; picking up and delivering meals and other items throughout the facility; and cleaning and organizing materials and office spaces. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the workday.
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
Frequent use of hands and arms to grasp, hold, push, pull, and operate cleaning equipment.
Ability to climb stairs when necessary.
Sufficient vision to safely perform cleaning duties and identify areas requiring attention.
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and building occupants.
Good reading comprehension and ability to follow written instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills with supervisors and coworkers.
Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Commitment to workplace safety and company policies.
Minimum 1–3 years of janitorial or commercial cleaning experience.
Reliable transportation.
Flexibility to work varying schedules as needed.
Selected candidates must pass all applicable pre-employment and site-specific requirements.

Nice To Haves

Experience cleaning office buildings, commercial facilities, or industrial spaces.
Knowledge of proper cleaning methods and sanitation practices.
Experience using standard janitorial equipment, including vacuums, floor mops, and cleaning tools.

Responsibilities

Dust, sweep, and mop floors throughout the facility.
Empty trash receptacles and maintain clean work areas.
Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and other waste materials.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and break rooms.
Clean microwaves, tables, chairs, countertops, fixtures, and other common areas.
Clean interior glass, windows, and other surfaces as needed.
Clean and maintain entryways, hallways, and floor mats.
Operate and maintain basic janitorial equipment and supplies.
Restock restroom and breakroom supplies as needed.
Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.
Stock facility cabinets, refrigerators, and other areas with supplies and food items.
Pick up and deliver meals and other items throughout the facility.
Clean and organize materials and office spaces.
Perform other duties as assigned.
