Janitor I
About The Position
Clean designated areas nightly, including collecting trash and taking it to the compactor, cleaning and restocking restrooms, washing windows, vacuuming and mopping floors, dusting, and performing other assigned general-cleaning duties. The position is on-site in Springfield, Missouri, and is part-time. The role requires the ability to lift 50 pounds and involves standing, walking, bending, lifting, and operating cleaning equipment. Previous janitorial experience is helpful. The employer is the Assemblies of God National Office, a nonprofit religious organization. Employees are required to profess the organization’s religious beliefs and strive to live consistently with them. Compensation is $15.00 per hour. This part-time position is not eligible for benefits.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required for janitorial work.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, plan and prioritize tasks, and complete them in a timely manner.
- Employees must profess the Assemblies of God’s religious beliefs and strive to live consistently with them.
