About The Position

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of In-N-Out Burger’s facility and warehouse in San Dimas. Duties include cleaning and maintaining offices, lunchrooms, restrooms, and the exterior of the warehouse building and corporate offices. The position is full-time, hourly, and non-exempt, with a Thursday–Monday schedule from 4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. (Tuesday and Wednesday off), subject to change based on business needs. Some weekend and holiday shifts are required; occasional overtime may be needed, and the employee may occasionally cover other shifts. The expected pay range is $20.75–$24.50 per hour.

Requirements

Valid California driver’s license.
In-N-Out store associates must have at least one year of store experience.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and handle heavy equipment and machinery.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional manner.
Ability to interact with all levels of management and outside organizations while representing the company positively.
Self-starter who can work autonomously and independently, with integrity.
Pride in work and a desire for cleanliness and organization.
High school degree or GED.

Nice To Haves

Cleanup store experience.
At least two years of proven work experience as a janitor, custodian, or in sanitation.
Janitorial or sanitation experience at a warehouse facility or distribution center.

Responsibilities

Clean designated building areas through dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning.
Collect and dispose of trash.
Stock and maintain supply rooms and cleaning equipment.
Assist with event setup in the warehouse and corporate offices.
Document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
Perform heavy cleaning tasks and special projects.
Notify management of deficiencies or repair needs and make adjustments and minor repairs.
Cooperate with warehouse staff and carry out duties in a friendly manner.
Follow health and safety regulations.
