About The Position
The Janitor / Cleaner helps keep Southern Wesleyan University facility spaces safe, sanitized, and welcoming. The role performs routine cleaning and custodial duties in common areas, restrooms, and workspaces, and helps maintain equipment and supplies while reporting maintenance needs. This is an onsite, part-time position at the university in Central, South Carolina, scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Pay is $14.00.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to arrive on time for the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and remain active throughout the shift.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and removing trash.
- Clean, dust, and disinfect common areas, restrooms, and workspaces.
- Maintain equipment and stock supplies.
- Promptly report maintenance needs.
- Work collaboratively during the shift to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
