Pozez Jewish Community Center of Northern VirginiaFairfax, VA
Hybrid

About The Position

Our J-Family Ambassadors (JFAs) build authentic relationships, create new, barrier-free Jewish experiences, expand communities, and share relevant Jewish content with families raising Jewish children under the age of 6. JFAs support the Ambassador program through regular correspondence with their constituency, face-to-face gatherings, small-scale outreach, and community events. As a JFA, you will help new parents meet and connect with other Jewish families in Northern Virginia and access relevant and meaningful experiences. Our JFAs also work in coordination with and support of the Growing Jewish Families program and the broader Community Impact and Engagement department. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with our community and have a significant impact on the experience of families across Northern Virginia. The Pozez Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia, located in Fairfax, Virginia, is a nonprofit social service organization that builds community and enriches lives. The Pozez JCC is a community connector, offering a variety of programs and services on its main campus, online, and throughout Northern Virginia through its many partnerships. Quality programs and experiences, based on Jewish values, include early childhood education, after-school and day camps, social programs for families raising young children, health and aquatics activities, adult learning and cultural programs, inclusion and disabilities services, community impact through volunteerism, and more. Programs are open to people of all ages and backgrounds.
