About The Position

An exciting opportunity awaits you with Reproductive Partners Medical Group, a leading fertility practice in Southern California! Our Long Beach location is seeking a full-time, In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Coordinator. This role is an important part of our team and either an MA, LVN, or RN is required for this position.

Requirements

Must have one of the following: Active California RN license, or an active LVN license, or a Medical Assistant Certification
Ability to work full-time Monday-Friday with rotation of weekends and holidays as needed
Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn

Nice To Haves

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
New grads welcome! We are very willing to train the right candidate
Experience in Women’s Health Care is a bonus but not required.
Previous IVF or Women's Health related experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Educate patients on treatment protocols, medications, diagnostic procedures and early pregnancy.
Educate patients for signs and symptoms of complications to procedures and medication.
Coordinates the completion of any necessary infertility diagnostic testing and creates a treatment calendar to assist patient in following the prescribed protocol.
Clearly document plan of care with attention to detail using an EMR system.
Assist with in-office procedures, administer medications, and perform phlebotomy.
Pre-Op patients for surgical procedures such as hysteroscopy, D & C, and egg retrievals.
The applicant must be a team player. They must be able to work effectively and communicate amongst all members of the health care team to provide continuity of care.
Provide a patient care experience that exceeds their expectation by actively listening to the patient and taking on the role of providing exceptional patient care.
Other duties as assigned.
