IT User Acceptance Testing Intern
About The Position
Sallie Mae is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated UAT Intern to support user acceptance testing for Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Experience Cloud implementations. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to digital transformation initiatives while learning enterprise platforms and testing practices. Interns participate in meetings, work with mentors, gain exposure to senior leaders, and receive performance feedback during the summer program. The 12-week paid internship is scheduled for June 7, 2027, through August 28, 2027, and requires a 40-hour work week. The position follows a three-day flexible in-office policy at Sallie Mae’s Newark, Delaware office.
Requirements
- Detail-oriented and motivated.
- Interest in technology and willingness to learn enterprise platforms.
- Professional demeanor suitable for interacting with IT leadership and business stakeholders.
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to Salesforce through Trailhead modules, coursework, or certifications.
- Experience with Jira, TestRail, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of financial services workflows.
- Interest in enterprise-scale technology challenges and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing UAT test cases and scripts.
- Participate in test planning, defect tracking, and reporting.
- Collaborate with business users to validate functionality against requirements.
- Document test results and support issue resolution with engineering teams.
- Help ensure platform stability and user experience across Salesforce applications.
