About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill an IT Transition Manager position for our client. This is a remote role with a duration of 4 months. The IT Transition Manager will be responsible for leading IT service transitions, including planning, execution, and operational handoffs. This role involves managing project schedules, resources, budgets, risks, and deliverables, while coordinating with clients, vendors, technical teams, and service delivery stakeholders. Key duties include overseeing knowledge transfer, documentation, training, and service readiness, as well as monitoring SLAs, KPIs, and transition milestones to minimize service disruptions. The position also requires maintaining project reporting, governance, and driving process improvements.

Requirements

IT project management and service transition.
ITIL, IT service management, and enterprise IT operations.
Risk management, scheduling, and change control.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management.
Experience with project management tools and cross-functional teams.
Experience in IT project management, service delivery, or service transitions.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of vendor management, operational handoffs, and ITIL methodologies preferred.
PMP or ITIL certification preferred.
