The Carolinas East Telecom Delivery team is seeking a technical professional to design and document reliable AC and DC power solutions for critical telecommunications infrastructure. The role provides engineering support during installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting by answering technical questions, clarifying design requirements, and resolving design-related issues with Field Services and other implementation teams. The position supports telecom equipment installed at sites that include, but are not limited to, generation and transmission facilities, control buildings, shelters, towers, data centers, substations, and other industrial or reliability-focused locations. The role is focused on the telecom power systems serving that equipment, rather than the broader electrical systems of the host facility. The position may be filled at the IT Telecom Analyst or Senior IT Telecom Analyst level based on qualifications and relevant experience. Relevant experience may come from professional employment, military service, internships, technical programs, laboratory work, or other applied technical experience. Prior telecommunications power experience is preferred but is not required for all candidates. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who balances engineering rigor with practical delivery, works effectively with small cross-functional teams, communicates clearly, and demonstrates commitment to safety, reliability, documentation quality, continuous learning, and accountable ownership.
