About The Position

This role involves supporting and optimizing process control systems and data interfaces for manufacturing operations. The Senior IT Analyst will lead and participate in IT projects related to production equipment, systems, and integrations, and provide daily support for shop floor PLCs, hardware, software, and manufacturing applications. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving production line and process control system issues, delivering expert support for production systems across multiple sites (including remote locations), developing and maintaining SQL stored procedures, complex queries, and database performance improvements. The role also requires assessing production system changes for operational and technical impacts, and training maintenance and operations teams on equipment functionality, troubleshooting, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of IT experience supporting manufacturing or production environments.
  • Experience with SCADA, MES, and other business-critical manufacturing systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Siemens WinCC, including WinCC Professional, Unified, and/or OA platforms.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production workflows, and plant-floor processes.
  • Proficiency in SQL development, including stored procedures, dynamic SQL, complex queries, and database optimization.
  • Experience developing and supporting manufacturing applications using VB/VB.NET, .NET, C/C#, and Python for automation, integration, and data processing.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation technologies, including PLCs, HMIs, and communication protocols such as OPC, Modbus TCP/IP, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and MQTT.
