About The Position

Mark One Electric is seeking an IT Technician to provide technical support and manage systems at the company’s office and in the field. The role calls for clear, courteous communication, effective prioritization and multitasking, attention to detail, initiative in identifying and resolving issues, and commitment to ongoing skill development and continuous improvement.

This is a full-time, hourly position with a core schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for 40 or more hours per week. Work outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, may occasionally be required for system upgrades and maintenance. The position includes physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, stretching, twisting, and standing or sitting for long periods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stretch, and twist.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for technology-related issues affecting employees and the company.
• Manage employee logins, approvals, and access.
• Identify and resolve hardware issues, coordinate replacement equipment, and ensure proper installation.
• Create and maintain support-process documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Proactively monitor and administer the network, workstation operating systems, security system, safety, backups, and related servers.
• Assemble, disassemble, repair, install, and de-install computers, cell phones, and related equipment approved for corporate use.
• Supervise and train employees in the use of systems to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate equipment inventories and an organized, safe, and clean work area.
