About The Position

This position is responsible for implementing, and supporting the global infrastructure which consists of local infrastructure and cloud environments. Ensures that all systems are monitored and plans for and responds to service outages and other problems. This role will work closely with third party partners that provide a variety of managed services. Develops, tests, and implements plans and procedures to protect and continue IT activities in case of emergency or disaster. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, and values. This position will be required to serve in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of healthcare experience with medical group or health system
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working within a Windows Server and an Active Directory environment.
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience working within at least three of the following disciplines; Server Virtualization, Citrix, Microsoft Exchange, System Center Configuration Manager, Storage Area Networks (SAN), Network Addressable Storage (NAS), and/or Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks.
• Must have reliable transportation to support all locations.

Nice To Haves

• Industry Certifications from two or more primary technology vendors is preferred; e.g. Cisco, Microsoft, Vmware, Citrix, EMC, IBM.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of the technical infrastructure for the organization, including data center operations, the physical and virtual server environment, cloud environments and the SAN environments.
• Oversees and coordinates data operations, business continuance and disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure that the Cloud Infrastructure is designed, deployed, and administered in alignment with our business objectives, and in alignment with our security, availability, and performance requirements.
• Responsible for system up time, availability, and business continuity in conjunction with the application owners.
• Interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively and effectively with all levels of clinical users, management, and third parties.
• Assist with implementation of infrastructure strategy that enables innovation and seeks to leverage technology trends that can create business value with agility and performance
• Infrastructure capacity planning and performance management, and identifying opportunities for automation, cost savings, and quality improvement
• Evaluate processing performance related to machine utilization and reliability, and forecast financial impact of IT needs.
• Maintain patient and employee confidentiality
• Ensures a reliable and compliant technology environment
• Manage licensing and third-party contracts
• Monitors and tests data integrity and disaster recovery architecture
• Assists with establishing technical priorities, standards, and procedures.
