What We're Looking For: I.T. Technician Reporting to the Group IT Director - Infrastructure & Security, the IT Technician is responsible for maintaining and supporting the organizations local and regional technological infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assists in system maintenance and upgrades, and offers user support and training. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and ensuring the efficient operation of hardware, software, and networks.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working with operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, software Applications, and networking.
  • Proven track record in providing technical support and troubleshooting IT issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Experience in assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and systems.
  • Experience with Windows operating systems.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, hardware, and software.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Business Central or SAP business processes is considered a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Utilize the Manage Engine suite of tools to monitor, manage, and maintain IT infrastructure.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of IT support activities and resolutions.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT-related topics.
  • Responding promptly to IT queries and issues.
  • Assisting in installation configurating, and maintenance of IT equipment.
  • Possibly participate in local Business improvement meetings to report and synchronize systems enhancements requirements to the Global IT team
  • System maintenance and upgrades
  • Conduct routine checks to ensure secure and efficient system operation.

  • Working with the global IT team to resolve complex issues and contribute to projects.
