About The Position

We are currently seeking an IT Technician to join our team of highly qualified professionals that share our vision of Empowering Children to Conquer their World! This role is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving hardware and software of the organization.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills which include a working knowledge of keyboarding, database, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and other company documents.
  • Ability to author routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Reports for work dressed appropriately and complies with company policies regarding the dress code.
  • Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state of Arkansas.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years’ experience in a related field, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving hardware and software of the organization.
  • Setting up a computer (monitor, keyboard, as well as other equipment).
  • Troubleshooting Windows and Apple devices.
  • Troubleshooting basic server and network issues for devices.
  • Troubleshooting and displaying understanding of Microsoft’s core applications and operating systems (Office, RDP, as well as other systems).
  • Managing users in Active Directory.
  • Communicating with team members and outside contractors/providers with clarity and in a professional and timely manner.
  • Tracking, monitoring, and resolving tickets in ticketing system.
  • Exhibiting excellent customer service that results in team member positive perception and satisfaction with IT experience.
  • Tracking and monitoring inventory.
  • Displaying and exhibiting ability to work on a team and communicate effectively.
  • Upholding and incorporating the core values, mission, and philosophy of Pediatrics Plus into all job responsibilities.
  • Participating in one-on-one meetings with leader.
