About The Position

Performs a variety of technical duties related to maintaining data, operations and maintenance of the Iron County computer and related systems. Works under the general guidance and direction of the Iron County I.T. Director and the I.T. Manager.

Requirements

  • An associate degree (minimum) in Computer Science or related field and at least two (2) years of related experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Utah Driver's License and compliance with Iron County's vehicle/driving policy.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and be able to obtain NCIC criminal background clearance.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain compliance with Iron County drug and alcohol policies and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of advanced Information Technology principles and technologies.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, internet browsers, computers and word processing.
  • Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.
  • Knowledge of personal computer software and hardware configurations/capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain data, operations, and maintenance of Iron County computer and related systems.
  • Attend training when needed or scheduled.
  • Be available to work occasional, extended hours and/or weekends (as needed) to maintain computer operations or address emergencies.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
