About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and talented IT Technician to join our team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for day-to-day technology requests across Luxury Brand Partners, handling routine support so that our employees stay productive and our systems team can stay focused on higher-level work. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and solid knowledge of computers and technology. As a member of the Information Systems team, you will report directly to the Executive IT Director, who will set daily priorities and handle all system administration and escalations. This is a temporary, fixed-term assignment of approximately four (4) months, from October 2026 through February 2027, to provide coverage during an approved leave of absence. HYBRID: This role is classified as non-exempt from the Fair Labor Standard Act’s overtime requirement and is open to candidates based in the Miami, FL metropolitan area. While the position is primarily remote, it follows a hybrid schedule requiring occasional in-person work at Wynwood, Miami, FL 33127. The role requires working in EST hours, so candidates located on the East Coast are preferred. A reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace free from significant distractions are essential for remote work.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a help desk, desktop support, or technical support role desired
  • A degree in an IT-related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Comfort supporting both Windows and macOS
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with all kinds of people and personalities
  • Availability for the full length of the assignment

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee technology requests, resolving day-to-day issues both remotely and in a hands-on manner
  • Set up email, software, and hardware equipment for new employees
  • Process intake and reassignment of equipment from outgoing employees
  • Set up, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and macOS laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
  • Perform basic account support, such as password resets and multifactor authentication re-registration, under delegated least-privilege permissions
  • Support AV and video conferencing equipment in office meeting spaces
  • Maintain equipment tracking records and flag procurement needs for tech supplies
  • Assist with company phone setup and configuration
  • Document all work in the ticketing system and escalate system, security, and infrastructure matters to the Executive IT Director
  • Regular attendance and additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Assist with special projects or initiatives as needed to support departmental goals.
  • Support cross-departmental efforts or collaborative initiatives when required.
