About The Position

Passumpsic Bank is seeking a bright, energetic, and highly motivated IT Technician to join their IT Department. This role provides internal IT support to Bank employees, ensuring the smooth delivery of technology services. The IT Technician will monitor, operate, and assist with computer hardware, software, and peripherals, utilizing diagnostic tools for customer assistance and equipment maintenance. They will also set up computer equipment, schedule maintenance, and serve as the primary contact for employees experiencing computer issues, while cooperating with other IT support staff.

Responsibilities

Assist and support users with the use of core banking applications, standard software, Windows, Google Workplace, and other related banking business solutions.
Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone, voicemail, email, and ticket requests for assistance promptly and with overall positive satisfaction.
Escalate issues to other IT staff as appropriate while remaining responsible for prompt resolution.
Work with third-party vendors to coordinate banking industry-specific software installations, upgrades, and technical support requests, and monitor vendor accountability.
Create and update documentation on established Technical Support procedures and processes, problem resolution steps, and escalation procedures.
Make recommendations to management on updates and changes needed.
Coordinate and/or develop training to coach, mentor, or train co-workers on changes to applications as they are installed, updated, or removed.
Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job functions and applies to designated job responsibilities.
Keep up to date on regulation changes.
Follow all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and complete all required annual or job-specific training.
Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
