About The Position

N8Tech is a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) delivering IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, and cloud solutions to businesses across Southeast New Mexico. Our team supports organizations by designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and reliable technology environments. We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Technician who can independently manage technical issues, deploy infrastructure solutions, and support business clients in a fast-paced MSP environment. The IT Systems Technician is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, network management, and infrastructure deployments across multiple client environments. This role requires strong experience with business networks, Microsoft 365, servers, cybersecurity tools, and managed IT platforms. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, solving complex technical problems, and communicating directly with clients.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years experience in IT support or managed services
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and business networks
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls)
• Experience troubleshooting servers, workstations, and network infrastructure
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues independently

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in an MSP environment
• Familiarity with RMM platforms and endpoint security tools
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware, etc.)
• CompTIA Network+
• CompTIA Security+
• Microsoft certifications
• Other relevant technical certifications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex workstation, server, and network issues
• Configure and maintain routers, firewalls, switches, and VPN connections
• Deploy and support Microsoft 365 environments and cloud services
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity solutions
• Monitor and manage client systems using RMM and alerting platforms
• Perform system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements
• Document systems, procedures, and technical resolutions
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians when needed
• Maintain strong client relationships through professional communication
