About The Position

M9 Solutions is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to work onsite in support of a government contract for a client located in Sunnyvale, CA. An active Secret clearance is required. Requirements

Active Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Current Security+ certification.

Responsibilities

Maintain the digital ecosystem across production and testing environments, ensuring all systems remain efficient, secure, and reliable.
System Administration (Linux/UNIX, Windows, embedded hardware) – deploy, configure, harden, troubleshoot, and support disaster recovery (NetBackup/Veeam).
Storage Management – install, secure, and monitor NetApp or other NAS/SAN solutions.
Cyber Compliance – apply STIGs, manage patches/upgrades, perform trusted downloads, and maintain RMF-based compliance.
Change & Asset Management – execute changes using change management tools and keep asset inventories up to date.
Operational Support – work onsite during day shift business hours; provide after hours support when critical operations demand it.
Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing – lead technical best practice discussions, mentor peers, and coordinate with functional teams to resolve issues.
