Requirements

  • Configuring and management of Microsoft Active Directory
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID
  • Experience with server virtualization software and clustering
  • Administering Microsoft 365
  • Administering and configuring Microsoft Intune for PC and MDM
  • Responding to alerts from various systems 24/7
  • Knowledge of public and internal email routing, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and content filtering
  • LAN network configuration including routing, VLAN concepts, Access Control Lists, and Spanning-Tree
  • Firewall configuration and management
  • Knowledge of Cloud based environments
  • Internet content filtering
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Installation of server and PC software and patches following proper procedures and best practices
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
  • Ability to write information and respond to questions from groups of managers and staff.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Demonstrated use of intermediate computer operations
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to maintain relationships with computer-related vendors
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
  • Ability to be on call to respond to emergencies

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide application support to all departments as needed.
  • Responsible for the design, installation, integration, testing, documentation, monitoring, configuration management, disaster recovery/business continuity and ongoing maintenance of all TSA applications.
  • Schedules and implements major and minor software releases as well as emergency service and/or security packs for computer and server operating systems.
  • Schedule and implement major and minor software updates for all network devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Provides network and application access by assigning roles and maintaining security for auditing purposes.
  • Responsible for managing PC and server management applications, including MDM, security and operational policies.
  • Monitor and responds to notification-related aspects of the network and computing environment.
  • Responding 24/7 to monitoring of system and network health, utilization, performance, and security across all assigned platforms and takes the necessary steps to address any alert or notification.
  • Develop and provide management reporting and dashboard of performance and other key information as defined.
  • Manage, lead, own and/or participate in IT projects and tasks as outlined by management.
  • Will oversee and coordinate work of contractors as required.
  • On call and after-hours support required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Abide by all TSA policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Manual.
  • Comply with safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe work practices to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
