About The Position

The Systems Intern provides technical assistance to end users and troubleshoots hardware and software issues across PC and peripheral systems. The role also performs tasks involving servers, networks, and other equipment as directed. This is an on-site internship in Manhattan, Kansas, near Kansas State University. The internship is open immediately as of January 19; relocation assistance is not provided.

Nice To Haves

• Training for or plans to complete certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+.

Responsibilities

• Provide help desk assistance to end users, including support for PCs, peripherals, phones, and software.
• Troubleshoot, repair, reload, or image new and used systems for deployment.
• Apply hardware and software updates as directed.
• Assist in maintaining system and network security for new, current, and terminated employees.
• Maintain an inventory of owned software licenses and hardware, ensuring software license compliance.
