About The Position

This role provides essential support for the planning, operation, and maintenance of local, remote, and cloud-based network environments. It assists with designing and evaluating computer systems and helps ensure the security and functionality of routers, servers, and network infrastructure. The position supports day-to-day network operations, manages physical and cloud-based storage, maintains LAN and internet services, and develops archiving procedures to sustain organizational readiness. It also contributes to general IT administration, system maintenance across physical and cloud environments, and adherence to security protocols. The role may require OCONUS deployment, shift-based schedules, and hands-on work requiring moderate physical capability. Candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance and strong network-administration experience.

Requirements

• Requires relocation to or residence in the Tampa, Florida area.
• Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
• Able to deploy OCONUS, if necessary, to hostile fire areas.
• Bachelor of Science degree and 1–3 years of experience.
• Able to work shiftwork as required by the customer.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of Azure cloud management experience.
• Microsoft Azure certifications.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• At least 2 years of systems administration experience.
• Experience applying standard DoD STIG packages and remediating functional or performance issues.

Responsibilities

• Plan, recommend, and assist in designing local, remote, and cloud computer systems.
• Oversee day-to-day computer network operations and evaluate system performance.
• Assist in maintaining the security of routers and servers.
• Research and recommend network hardware and software, including telecommunications methods and protocols.
• Maintain LAN, internet, DNS, and database systems.
• Manage physical and cloud-based network storage.
• Develop and maintain archiving procedures.
• Provide general IT administrative support and end-user support.
• Analyze and troubleshoot network logs, and track the nature and resolution of problems.
• Monitor network usage to help secure data and access privileges.
• Monitor network data and optimize performance; resolve critical network failures.
• Troubleshoot performance and security issues.
• Resolve problems reported by end users.
