IT System Manager
About The Position
Turing is seeking candidates with experience in information systems management, project leadership, and enterprise technology strategy. In this role, you will contribute to projects that evaluate and enhance AI systems using your IT leadership and systems management expertise. Prior AI experience is not required. Projects explore how AI can support digital transformation, automation, and data-driven decision-making across enterprise technology environments. Day-to-day work includes designing and solving real-world IT operations and systems management scenarios to test AI reasoning; writing structured solutions on IT governance, system integration, cybersecurity, and project delivery; evaluating AI responses for accuracy, professionalism, and technical soundness; and collaborating with researchers to improve AI understanding of technology lifecycle management, strategic planning, and enterprise infrastructure. This is a contractor/freelancer assignment that may potentially be full-time. Projects last approximately one month, with the possibility of extension. Compensation varies by project. The role is fully remote.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as an IT Manager, Systems Administrator, or Technology Project Manager.
- Background in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of IT project management, software delivery, and security protocols.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and enterprise software systems.
- Excellent English communication and documentation skills.
