About The Position
The IT Infrastructure Technician provides tier 1 remote and local technology support for CaptiveAire, a national manufacturing company with six manufacturing facilities and more than 90 sales offices across the United States. The role also assists with hardware installation, inventory and asset management, and other information technology management tasks. This is not a remote position; the employee works from CaptiveAire’s corporate office in Raleigh.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional IT support experience, including substantial hands-on desktop, endpoint, or systems support responsibilities.
- Extensive hands-on experience supporting Windows PCs, Apple hardware, macOS, and iOS in a corporate environment.
- Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, operating system, peripheral, and connectivity problems.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, wired and wireless networking, VPN connectivity, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience troubleshooting network-connected workstations, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other endpoints.
- Ability to own technical problems from initial diagnosis through resolution and escalate appropriately when necessary.
- Experience supporting end users in a production business environment where reliability, responsiveness, and professional communication are essential.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

- Experience working with M365, Exchange Online, Entra, and/or Active Directory.
