We’re looking for an IT Support Technician for an onsite role in Columbia, SC. Candidate must be a current SC resident. The ideal candidate is a proactive and resourceful technician with a strong foundation in troubleshooting and supporting various technology platforms, including Windows, macOS, and mobile devices. They should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with staff, ensuring seamless technology integration and support. Requirements

Familiarity with one or more of the following: Windows 10/11, macOS, Microsoft 365, networking concepts, Active Directory, Intune, Jamf, mobile devices, classroom or audiovisual technology, Teams, and/or Zoom
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and peripherals
Ability to troubleshoot common computer and technology problems
Familiarity with Windows environments
Current SC resident

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or technical certification in information technology, computer science, information systems, or a related field

Responsibilities

Provide frontline technical support to staff
Diagnose and resolve common issues involving Windows and macOS computers, software and applications, user accounts and authentication, printers and peripherals, network and connectivity issues, monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, and related equipment, mobile devices, and other technology
Assist with workstation setup, equipment replacement, technology deployments, employee onboarding and offboarding, office moves, and other routine technology needs
Document work performed and escalate issues requiring advanced troubleshooting, administrative access, or assistance from other IT personnel
