As the IT Support Technician, you are the first point of contact for County and Municipal staff technical assistance requests.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Computer Technology or a related field
  • Valid Class G driver's license, with a clean driver’s abstract.
  • 2 years of related job experience.
  • Forward thinker! You excel at analyzing technical issues, identifying problems, and taking corrective action.
  • Enjoy working with internal and external customers to help them efficiently and effectively solve problems.

Responsibilities

  • Handle multiple support requests for hardware and software, troubleshoot, resolve and document support tickets.
  • Work alongside other Corporate Services Information Technology staff members on various projects and requests, while balancing changing tasks and deadlines.
  • Utilize your technical expertise to problem solve issues as they arise, while also leveraging your attention to detail and efficiency to effectively work through support tickets.
