About The Position

Responsible for providing end user support and software, hardware, and network assistance; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information. Experience providing technical support for financial institutions is preferred. Eligible candidates must reside within a commutable distance of Moosic, PA.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent normally required; specialized bank education/training.
Must demonstrate strong communication skills.
Proficient interpersonal relations.
Proficient computer skills.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365 Suite and banking software applications.
Familiarity with bank IT security practices.
A minimum of two (2) years’ related experience normally required.
Must reside within a commutable distance of Moosic, PA.

Nice To Haves

Experience providing technical support for financial institutions is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides end user support and software, hardware, and network assistance.
Troubleshoots first level of user problems and concerns regarding systems, network, and connectivity issues; researches and resolves issues.
Documents, creates, and verifies tickets in the Help Desk management software; tracks and monitors problems to ensure timely resolution.
Interfaces with infrastructure and systems staff.
Accurately communicates resolution plans, progress, and issues in a timely manner.
Manages user account administration for network and various portals.
Manages laptop & PC deployments for organization.
Actively contributes to ongoing process improvement.
Performs special projects as assigned.
Travels onsite as needed to provide direct support using company provided vehicle.
Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.
