About The Position

The IT Support Analyst provides first-line technical support to end users, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues related to hardware, software, applications, and access. This role serves as the primary point of contact for IT support requests and plays a critical role in maintaining user productivity, system reliability, and a positive support experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of IT support experience (internship or coursework acceptable).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Office365, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues using logical problem-solving skills.
  • Maintains confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IT support requests via ticketing system, phone, email, or chat
  • Track, update, and resolve support tickets in accordance with established SLAs
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to: Windows 10/11 and macOS operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), User accounts, passwords, MFA, and access permissions, Desktop and laptop hardware, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices
  • Install, configure, and maintain end-user hardware and software
  • Provision and deprovision user accounts in Active Directory / Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 or Tier 3 support teams with detailed documentation
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment setup and access provisioning
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates on PCs, operating systems, and standard software applications
  • Maintain accurate documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures
  • Manage and track IT assets, including hardware and software inventory
  • Support company-wide initiatives such as system upgrades, office moves, or technology deployments
  • Follow IT security policies and best practices to safeguard company systems and data
  • Provide clear communication and excellent customer service to both technical and non-technical users
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold company policies and organizational values
  • Perform other duties as assigned
