About The Position

The IT Support Analyst provides technical support and maintains IT systems that support both corporate operations and field-based power generation projects. This role ensures reliable, secure, and efficient technology services, including end-user support, network connectivity, and operational technology (OT) systems critical to energy infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 0-2 years of IT support or help desk experience
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory
  • Experience with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, routers, switches)
  • Familiarity with industrial systems (SCADA, OT environments) preferred
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices; knowledge of NERC CIP is a plus
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues in both office and field environments
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical users
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

  • Familiarity with industrial systems (SCADA, OT environments)
  • Knowledge of NERC CIP

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Tier 1–2 support for hardware, software, and network issues across office and field environments
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access using Active Directory and related tools
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity (LAN/WAN/VPN), including remote job sites and substations
  • Support and maintain systems related to power operations, including SCADA and other industrial applications
  • Ensure system uptime and performance for business-critical and operational technology systems
  • Apply security protocols and assist with compliance efforts (e.g., NERC CIP standards)
  • Assist with system patching, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery processes
  • Document procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations
  • Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and field personnel to support business operations
  • Provide technical support at remote sites as needed, including occasional travel
