The Citadel Military College of South Carolina is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join their Information Technology Services department. In this role, you will provide help desk support to faculty, staff, and students. Key responsibilities include answering and tracking support calls using The Citadel's IT ticketing system, utilizing remote access tools to troubleshoot software issues, remove malware and viruses, install software, assist with account issues, and provide general troubleshooting assistance. The position also requires delivering exceptional customer service by promptly and effectively addressing user needs and resolving technical issues, as well as identifying and recognizing recurring IT issues within The Citadel's community and collaborating with team members to actively resolve them for a more efficient IT environment. The Citadel is a public senior military college located in Charleston, South Carolina, founded in 1842, and is ranked #1 Public College in the South (U.S. News & World Report, 2022) for schools with up to a master’s degree.
