IT Security Intern
About The Position
The IT Security Intern is responsible for assisting with the implementation of enhanced security controls to protect IDT’s global IT environment. This position reports to the IT Security Manager and is part of the IT Security Team located in Coralville, IA and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with various global IT teams, assist with the implementation of data loss prevention controls, assist with the implementation of endpoint privilege management controls, and participate in threat and vulnerability processes, identifying and collaborating with IT stakeholders.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in cybersecurity or similar Information Technology related discipline.
- Working knowledge of IT and Cybersecurity principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Prior hands-on working experience in an IT related field.
