About The Position

Monster Energy is seeking a Project Manager to join its IT PMO team and lead technology projects from kickoff through completion. The role works closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to keep initiatives on track, within budget, and aligned with company goals. The Project Manager brings structure and clarity to complex projects, operates independently with minimal oversight, and drives cross-functional alignment across business and IT while influencing stakeholders and executives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, information technology, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience managing complex, enterprise-grade IT projects with multi-system dependencies.
Experience working in IT environments and familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and enterprise-grade applications.
Experience managing Salesforce platform projects, including implementations, enhancements, integrations, data flows, and ongoing application management.
Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
Ability to drive cross-functional alignment across business and IT and influence stakeholders and executives without direct authority.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and hybrid approaches.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
Ability to lead teams without direct authority and drive accountability across departments.
Understanding of budgeting, financial tracking, and resource management principles.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
Vendor and systems integrator partner management skills specific to Salesforce delivery.
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and project management tools.

Nice To Haves

Advanced degree preferred.
Experience managing projects within a formal PMO structure preferred.
Familiarity with ClickUp, LucidChart, or equivalent project management and diagramming tools preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management.
Lead cross-functional teams of IT staff, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors through project initiation, planning, design and requirements gathering, development and integration coordination, QA testing, UAT, and closure.
Serve as the primary liaison between business sponsors, technical teams, and executive leadership to align objectives, priorities, and expectations.
Track and report project status, milestones, budget performance, and key metrics using PMO tools and templates, including dashboards, RAID logs, and status reports.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, escalating appropriately and driving timely resolution.
Manage project scope and change control, assessing change requests for their impact on schedule, cost, and resources.
Facilitate project kickoffs, status updates, steering committee reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure adherence to and adoption of PMO governance standards, methodologies, and documentation requirements.
Coordinate resource planning and allocation with functional managers.
Manage vendor, systems integrator, and contractor relationships, including scope adherence, deliverables, and contract compliance.
Support budget forecasting, tracking, and reconciliation for assigned projects.
Lead post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned sessions after major releases to support continuous improvement of PMO practices.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date project documentation in the PMO project management system.
Represent and promote the PMO and project management functions.
