Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, information technology, or related field is required.
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex, enterprise-grade IT projects with multi-system dependencies.
  • Experience working within IT environments and familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and enterprise-grade applications.
  • Experience managing Salesforce platform projects, including implementations, enhancements, integrations, data flows, and ongoing application management.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment across business and IT and influence stakeholders and executives without direct authority.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, hybrid approaches)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple, concurrent priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams without direct authority and drive accountability across departments.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, financial tracking, and resource management principles.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation.
  • Strong vendor and SI partner management skills specific to Salesforce delivery
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite and project management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams composed of IT staff, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors through all phases of the project lifecycle — initiation, planning, design/requirements gathering, development (including integration coordination), QA testing, UAT, and closure.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business sponsors, technical teams, and executive leadership, ensuring alignment on objectives, priorities, and expectations.
  • Track and report project status, milestones, budget performance, and key metrics using PMO standard tools and templates (e.g., dashboards, RAID logs, status reports).
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, escalating appropriately and driving resolution in a timely manner
  • Manage project scope and change control, evaluating change requests for impact on schedule, cost, and resources.
  • Facilitate project meetings, including kickoffs, status updates, steering committee reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure adherence and adoption of PMO governance standards, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid), and documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate resource planning and allocation with functional managers to ensure project staffing needs are met.
  • Manage vendor, SI, and contractor relationships, including scope adherence, deliverables, and contract compliance.
  • Support budget forecasting, tracking, and reconciliation for assigned projects.
  • Drive post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned sessions following a major release to support continuous improvement of PMO practices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation in the PMO's project management system.
  • Act as an ambassador for the PMO and project management functions.
