IT Project Manager / Technical Project Manager
About The Position
MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead IT projects for a public-sector organization in the Pontiac, Michigan area. The role oversees one or more projects from start to finish, establishing project teams, responsibilities, schedules, budgets, and resource plans, while serving as the liaison between project teams and the business area requesting each project. The environment uses portfolio management and Agile delivery tools alongside Microsoft 365 collaboration tools. The position is hybrid, with two days per week on-site in Pontiac, and is a 12-month W2 contract. Local candidates are required; relocation is not offered. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience managing IT projects.
- Hands-on experience with CA Clarity Portfolio Management, MS Project, and Azure DevOps.
- Working knowledge of MS Visio, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and MS Teams.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Must live within commuting distance of Pontiac, Michigan, and work on-site two days a week.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
