Requirements

1.5+ years experience in an IT role (e.g. Operations, Production Support, Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support)
1.5+ years IBM Workload Scheduler z/OS scheduling experience
1.5+ years IBM Workload Scheduler Distributed scheduling experience
Working knowledge in these technologies: OS: UNIX, Linux, Mainframe, Windows Server
Protocols: Telnet, SFTP, TCP/IP
MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Problem solving and decision-making skills
Careful attention to detail
Customer focus

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with IWS, JES, JCL, MVS-TSO, ISPF/XEDIT, CLIST, IBM Utilities
Familiarity with SAP application scheduling
Working knowledge: Vi and Unix Shell scripting
Familiarity with Tools/Apps: Office 365
ServiceNow: change management, work request, and incident

Responsibilities

Creates and updates scheduling in IBM Workload Scheduler in the distributed and mainframe environments, per requested specifications, ensuring compliance with quality standards and policies.
IBM Workload Scheduling for Mainframe and Distributed Systems
Build permanent scheduling definitions, including: calendars, resources, variables, and events.
Mainframe ad hoc scheduling support
Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of production issues as second level support.
Participate in on-call rotations.
