About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves analyzing operational performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities across business units. The analyst will partner with cross-functional teams to develop insights supporting strategic and day-to-day decision-making, build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations, and monitor KPIs to provide actionable recommendations. The position also supports forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, collaborates with field operations and leadership to drive process improvements, and ensures data accuracy through validation and standardization. Special projects, including system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives, will also be part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities across business units

  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate key metrics clearly
  • Monitor KPIs and provide actionable recommendations to optimize efficiency and cost performance
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis activities
  • Collaborate with field operations and leadership to drive process improvements and operational consistency
  • Ensure data accuracy through validation, reconciliation, and process standardization
  • Assist with special projects, including system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
