About The Position

The Electric Boat Information Technology Project Management Office (EBIT PMO) manages IT projects, programs, and portfolios across the Electric Boat enterprise. It provides governance for project, program, and portfolio management processes and best practices, monitors performance, drives project delivery, and performs strategic planning to maximize business value.

The IT PMO Delivery Manager (Execution Lead) will oversee the IT Facilities project space and the IT scope of Electric Boat Real Estate/Facilities projects, including new building construction and renovations. The role supports project managers through the project lifecycle, aligns stakeholders, coordinates multidisciplinary teams, governs PMO processes, and manages risks and dependencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of direct project or program management experience.
• 3+ years overseeing multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to drive teams while remaining results-focused.
• Stakeholder management skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven project management and/or portfolio management skills.
• Ability to influence leadership, PMO teams, and peers while working alongside them to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of direct IT project or program management experience working with IT infrastructure teams.
• Previous experience managing Facilities or IT network projects.
• Previous experience in Portfolio Management, including selecting, prioritizing, and overseeing projects to ensure alignment with business goals and team capacity.

Responsibilities

• Drive and support IT project managers through Facilities project lifecycles, from initial scoping and baseline planning through implementation; host project status meetings and drive project completion with project managers.
• Translate requirements for business leaders and manage expectations regarding scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Build strong business relationships with business customers in Groton Shipyard and Quonset Point, including through on-site visits and regular communication.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to remove blockers and streamline workflows.
• Govern PMO processes and frameworks among project managers.
• Track project dependencies, mitigate delivery risks, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure predictability.
