About The Position

Under the direction of the Head Of IT, the IT Operations Officer takes complete responsibility for the day-to-day operations, user support, and the branch/office IT environment. This role requires flexibility, including the ability to work nights and weekends.

Requirements

Knowledge and experience in general banking IT operations, technical support, and/or infrastructure monitoring.
Familiarity with ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management.
Basic understanding of Windows/Linux servers and networking concepts.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
3 to 7 years of related experience and/or training.
Knowledge of Computer Operating Systems, Windows, Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

Direct responsibility for supervising, evaluating, and training IT operations staff, including off-hour coverage.
Arrange training and assist end users in learning and using new applications.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date computer hardware and software inventory control and update configuration information.
Maintain operational dashboards, daily health checks, and system availability reports.
Work with internal teams to resolve recurring technical issues and improve operational workflows.
Maintain and update standard day-to-day operating procedures.
Support patching, change management, and scheduled maintenance activities.
Assist with disaster recovery tests and business continuity planning exercises.
Contribute to compliance, audit, and security tasks by generating logs and documentation when required.
Collaborate with application support, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams for seamless operations.
