About The Position

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system that provides care to a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only Level II Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatric Intensive Care, and the most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices.

This role analyzes complex local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges and other devices. The analyst will assist in the development of advanced technological ideas and guide their development into a final product. They will advise the Project Support Services team on all infrastructure related requirements. Responsibilities include conducting routine monitoring of communications performance using visual, diagnostic equipment/tools, status indicator checking methods, etc., to locate problems. The position also recommends and responds to user requests for system hardware and software upgrades and changes and provides maintenance support for various systems such as electronic mail or other server systems. This position will be required to serve in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Two (2) years directly related professional experience.
• Human Resources may substitute directly related professional experience for required education on a 1:1 basis.

Nice To Haves

• Industry Certifications attained from one or more primary technology vendors; e.g. Cisco, Microsoft, Vmware, Citrix, EMC, IBM, or credential from one or more industry credentialing vendors e.g. CompTia, etc.
