IT Manager (m/w/d)
About The Position
We are seeking an IT Manager to lead strategic IT initiatives for a growing medical technology company. This role involves developing and implementing the IT strategy, managing cloud transformations, establishing IT security and NIS-2 compliance, overseeing vendor management and contract negotiations, and planning budgets for IT projects. The position also requires operational excellence in project management for ERP upgrades and system integrations, Computer System Validation (CSV) for GMP-compliant medical device environments, administration of Office 365 and modern workplace solutions, and IT infrastructure management. Additionally, the role includes first-level support, leadership and team development, business partnership with the board on strategic IT decisions, cross-functional coordination, IT audit management, and change management for IT transformation projects.
Requirements
- Many years of IT professional experience with a focus on infrastructure, cloud, or ERP
- Strategic thinking combined with practical implementation skills
- Experience in cloud migration and modern IT architectures
- Competence in project and vendor management
- Strong communication skills for all levels of the organization
- Hands-on mentality – willingness to take on operational tasks
Nice To Haves
- ERP experience (ideally Proalpha)
- Medical technology/GMP environment and validation processes
- ITIL, Cyber-Security certifications
- Expertise in Office 365 and the Microsoft Cloud
- Basic business administration knowledge for budget and contract management
