About The Position

Element Logic is seeking an Automation Project Manager to take on new challenges in an international environment. This role is responsible for the end-to-end technical coordination and integration of automation and material flow systems within intralogistics projects. The position ensures that all automation-related disciplines (PLC, electrical engineering, and material handling technology) are aligned and integrated, delivered on time, and meet scope and quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering or comparable qualification.
  • Ideally more than five years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking and acting.
  • Team player mentality.
  • In-depth experience with automation and intralogistics systems, ideally in the following areas: PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA), Electrical engineering planning (e.g., EPLAN), Material flow systems (conveyor systems, AS/RS integration).
  • Many years of experience in intralogistics with a focus on material flow, warehouse design, and process optimization.
  • High quality awareness, structured and independent way of working.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to effectively analyze and solve customer problems.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the willingness to support colleagues and achieve common goals.
  • Very good German and fluent English skills (C1).

Responsibilities

  • Act as the central technical interface between engineering teams, suppliers, project management, and the customer.
  • Be responsible for the technical automation scope within projects (PLC, electrical engineering, conveyor technology).
  • Coordinate engineering activities and track technical milestones.
  • Monitor suppliers regarding quality, delivery, and specifications.
  • Support commissioning and act as an escalation point for technical issues.
  • Ensure system integration across all interfaces and disciplines.
